WOW is all I can say, it’s been years since my last blog post. So MUCH has changed for me in the last 2 years. This is going to be more of a personal post than so much a business post. I can say flat out, the last 2 years have been the most fun years of my life. I know I said I was going to blog more, but I just been having a lot of fun, making money and traveling the world. I want to rewind a little for you guys who are not familiar with me before I get into the last 2 years.

Most show success like they have never had any hurdles and they are perfect. I have had my own successes & failures, and I feel people think it has been a straight line to where I am today. I have been through stuff. It hasn’t always been sunshine and rainbows. I am also not the type to bitch and complain about mysituations because everyone has their pity parties and I am not the one to add
fuel to the fire.

I am product of a single-parent (mother) family, with 2 kids. Mom is always
working overtime just to survive. Just as much as I’d like to credit my mother, my foster parents deserve a lot of credit too because they me raised for the first 9 years of my life when my parents couldn’t. I didn’t understand when I was younger what $20,000 a year with 2 kids was. That’s incredible how a mother can put us through school in a good neighborhood and put herself second. I share this with you because without them I know for fact I would not have been here sharing my story with you today.

I am not new to the business world, my online business journey started at 14. I have experienced some major success by society’s standards. Became a major eBay power-seller in my teens and it afforded me many luxuries. Everything from buying cars cash with no financing and paying for my insurance every 6 months to state farm vs monthly etc. I took my family on trips to different places. You could catch me near the court at bull’s games with my brother & friends. One time I took 15 kids from my church to the united center in a stretch limo and sitting them in 100 sections. Shoes and clothes were just out of control. I could literally wear a pair of Jordan’s everyday of the month to school without wearing the same pair twice. My eBay success was achieved without a guide, mentors or anything I just figured it out. You could say my head was kind of big at the time. I even flew first class to Ohio to go and pick up a custom painted Camaro changed color in sun ($3,000 paint job”, which then was my 3rd car that I brought on eBay cash. This is all before my 18th birthday.

The next chapter of my life was graduating high school and joining the high ticket direct sales industry. I call this chapter keeping up with Joneses and learning curve. See it’s one thing to be the man when you’re in high school and making some decent change. It’s another thing hanging with people making $50,000 plus a month. I was exposed to a new world. I learned things like what tumi luggage was & what wood
frame Cartier sunglasses were. Being at dinner and they are ordering all types of food and champagne & bills for like $4,000 were a norm. It was just eye opening to see the way some people lived. Being in the high ticket direct sales industry was a really a big learning experience. Up until then I never had to hit the phones to make sales. Let me tell you it’s a whole new skill to develop. I was in the opportunity almost 4 months before I even made a dime. There was no turning back because I already invested over $25,000 already within first 2 months. I was selling products to people my parents age and older for 4 and 5 figure amounts with over 50% commissions. It was one of greatest skills I could ever develop. Long Story
short I got good and before I know it, I got people sending me 4 & 5 figure checks. As quick as money came in it pretty much went out just as quick. I moved out to Arizona and got a house to myself. Business continued and I did what I could to keep up with the Joneses. After a couple of years I lost passion for the business. It just wasn’t me and I had desire to pursue something else. There was so much that I loved and most of all the amazing people I got to meet in the business. I got introduced to personal development, which has changed my life a lot.

Next chapter I call finding myself. I had a little savings and I was also back in Chicago while I was figuring out what my next move was. Ebay changed quite a bit and I didn’t want to have the hassle of shipping things out. My new full time gig was playing xbox 360 nonstop and becoming ranked top 100 in the world in NBA live. There was a slight problem Xbox doesn’t make money and spending like I do without incoming income is not a good combination. I am very stubborn, I do things the way I like or not at all.
I wanted to find something that made my heart beat and wake me up with excitement.

So now I am 20 going through a midlife crisis, what am I going to do with my life. I even considered going to college, I even got to the stage of enrolling and paying for a semester. Then 1 week before classes, I said nah that’s not even close to my dream life. I got a refund on my classes and never went. Xbox playing continued until things just went totally downhill.

I call this chapter the HUMBLING one, Boost mobile days. The clearest mind I have ever had was when I had not a single money care in the world and loved what I did. Didn’t think twice about bills or
every time I filled up my car with gas. That peace of mind is purity that can’t be explained until you experience it. Let’s continue, cash now was a bare minimum and I was like wow what I am gonna
do. No Start up cash for anything, and wasn’t going to do anything I didn’t like. To paint a picture of how bad things were I couldn’t afford t-mobile phone bill anymore and had get prepaid boost mobile phone. I would get pissed every time someone would send me a text cause I would get charged 20 cents. It was such an embarrassing state to be in. No one could understand what I was going through. I am meant to be the guy with all the answers.

I did this thing now it was called GET A JOB, and WOW WOW WOW what a humbling experience. I went on interviews and got offers, one job that stood out was a life insurance job that was like $60,000 a year offer with signing bonus. The first interview was like an hour long and the guy loved me and asked me come back for second interview. I called him back because I had moment of clarity. I said thank you for offer, but I can’t take the position. I knew if I did I might get comfortable and SETTLE for regular life. I ended up taking a part time job at a different place on phones with decent pay.

I call this chapter getting back in the game. Work was actually fun because I knew it was temporary and I actually got out of the house. Now a new opportunity comes my way in the network marketing area 3 months into my job. The system was so new and fresh and innovative and I loved it. So I put the funds together ($3500) and got started. Here I developed
a skill that would forever change my life. This skill is called mass lead generation….. Oh yea after being at my job for 6 months total I left, last time ever seeing a job in my life. This system didn’t have longevity. After about a year I left, but I left with a skill that would pay huge dividends. Now I had bit of fun and had breathing room. I got T-Mobile back in my life now also lol. I also put together a guide teaching people my eBay skills, since I wasn’t using them anymore. I completed that guide within 2 days and sold around 500 copies within the life span of it with not much effort. Didn’t push it hard at all, just a simple basic eBay ad and saw the power of a story mixed with incredible info. I was inspired because I saw someone else doing it and I didn’t want my info I had in my head to die there so I shared it. The reviews were great from customers so I was happy.

I call this Chapter lets go big or go home. So after the previous company system I was marketing was going down, me and a few other leaders in the industry said well, let’s build our own system. Hopes and visions were VERY high and so the journey begun. At this point I am 22 years old and the hard work on this system commences. So now we’re going through a building stage and we are 100 % committed and go all in. Months go by, money is going out but not coming in. We pushed & pushed but could not get this project off the ground. So we all ended up going our own ways and that was the end of the project. So much of my energy and resources went into this project. For example like $5,000 for a 5-minute
video that never even saw light of day. That’s just a snippet of everything that went in. There’s so much more I don’t care to remember. That’s business; you can’t hit the home run every-time. So now funds are low and my 23rd has just come around. No way I am going back to boost mobile. So ideas start roaming in my head…. what’s the next move?

I call this chapter putting my skills to work. I had a period of month or two after my bday with thoughts of leaving the network marketing industry. It was a mini finding myself period after my bday. I
snapped out of it quickly because I still had a deep love for it. I witnessed it change lives and though it I developed great friends. Now equipped with my major skill of lead generation and ability to have
vision of creating brands and how people react to things. I connected with a few heavy hitters in the industry since my name rang bells from everything I had accomplished already. I set up unprecedented percentage deals within the industry for being a marketer. That was the last quarter of 2009. I started bringing in leads at unheard of rates and set up campaigns to really mold to individuals I was
marketing for. This did a few things for me; it gave me instantly a great cash flow, and the ability to be truly mobile.

After 6 months I had a lot of campaigns set up really good and it was really just a matter of maintaining accounts. Word got out that I was behind campaigns and other heavy hitters started asking me to take over their marketing. My response was “no” though, because I had enough on my plate and I was
enjoying life. I also decided to branch out, started marketing products and services outside the networking marketing arena to spread my wings.

Next Chapter is called happiness. So now I’m 23 with a decent cash flow and time freedom so I set out to travel the world. I have heard people say all the time being an adult is no fun. For me next couple
years of adult life were the most fun years of my life. Life was so good I had to pinch myself and say “is this real” before I would take trips like 1 week or two weeks somewhere.

There’s nothing like what I am about to share with you. I was spending months at a time in Hawaii then spur of the moment weekends in vegas or heading to fiji for couple weeks. I got addicted to the experience of traveling so now it’s 2 years and counting of pretty much non-stop traveling. I have got to meet some incredible people, eat some amazing food and oh yea meet some incredible women. I could go on and on with all other places I been and things I done in 2 years but I will just stop.

Next Chapter is called the repeated question. Traveling the world non-stop having fun and posting videos & pics people can’t help but ask questions. The question I get all the time is what do you do for a
living and then can you teach me. Literally thousands of people have asked me and so it got me thinking. After a year of traveling I said OK let me put something together for people.

I “Planned” to finish it within 2 months max. I started recording footage and content in January of 2011. My ideas for the project kept expanding and I also partied more than I worked so the project took much
longer than expected. Now it’s February 11th 2012 and I am putting the finishing touches on it. I was debating half way through the year if I was going to even release it. Reason being I knew it would
be an additional responsibility and a lot of it. Whether I released it or not I was still going to keep living the way I was. I knew people would want my time directly a lot more. I like being behind scenes and nobody has access to me. Most of 2010-2011 my life consisted of less than 15 work emails a week and 3-4 hours of account maintenance a week. The only time I would have to spend more time was if an advertising account went down or setting up a project or campaign.

I heard a quote that reads “if you help enough people get what they want you will get what you want”. So it was literally no choice. I had valuable information in my head and a lot of people want it so I was going to share it. I tell people all the time, I want to make CNN when I die. I know without touching a lot lives that won’t be possible. I feel like this my calling. I am not afraid to die I am just worry at times I will carry out my complete gift to world before my time is up.

Last Chapter I CALL THIS WORK . Why I do it call that?? Because that’s what it has been. For the last 4 months I have been putting pretty much all of my energy into finishing up this project Mrthinkoutsidethebox. I went from partying nonstop pretty much to staying in and working with my web team and making sure things were right, creating new content and just making sure everything was right. So many changes have happened and it’s of kind of crazy. It’s kind of like watching a movie, you don’t appreciate all the work that goes into making that 2 hour movie until you see what goes on behind the scenes.

I have not been very social at all, just focused. I know it’ all worth it because this is a new stage for me because I have never done anything like this. This eBay guide could be compared but nothing close to
this level. I care so much and put my heart on my sleeve for this. I want to assist other people with an option, a different level of living and thinking. I have achieved a level of living that most people HOPE
they can live when they retire but I am 25 years old. People want to know and I want to share insight with as many people as I can. I am no Zuckerberg or brain genius I just figured a few things out. I am
really not even that smart, I can’t even write that well. I am Just a regular dude who figured a few things out.

That’s the end of this little write up of my last 11 years in a few paragraphs. There is so much more to my story but that’s a pretty good summary, and one day in the future I will write a book so I can explain
things in greater detail.

Before I go a few things

1. A great Book I read was The Richest man in Babylon. I have not been
the best saver or money manager in my life. Yes I have been good at
making it but I think I was better at spending it. While I never racked
up a penny of credit card debt or loans etc if I couldn’t pay cash I
didn’t buy it. I could have managed things better early on. I picked
this book up in 2010 and it changed my financial philosophy. For
better relationship with money I highly recommend it.

2. 2. Stay consistent with what ever you do because without doing so, success is
HIGHLY unlikely. I have learned that consistent action is the best thing for
long-term success.

3. Getting over the FEAR of rejection because without that not too many
great things ever happen. That goes for anything from Women to Business and even Life itself. You become so powerful when you take rejection and not take
it personally and move on to a person who is going to say yes. I will
let you in on a little secret; the more you’re rejected the quicker you learn what
doesn’t work lol.

4. Don’t let anyone STEAL your DREAMS. Believe me I have had every
negative thing said to me that was soul crushing when I was down.
You’re wasting your time, to when are you gonna accomplish this or or that
“in sarcastic tone” you can’t say anything because don’t have
results. You just stay quiet but you take mental notes on everyone whoever said some sh#t lol.

5. Keep those people who support and want you win close to your heart
because there are few of them. I would NOT be where I am today without
assistance with these people. Special shout-outs to my mom, brother,
fosters parents, and my dad. I got close friends & family that man
without them I just don’t know. NOBODY, no matter what they say, ever does
everything 100% alone everyone has had a little help along the way.

Take Care

Money is everything is right………. Well no not if you can’t sleep right at night…..

If you do something that doesn’t feel right deep down inside, and you know its wrong, after a while it will catch up with you. You will either keep turning a blind eye and moving forward or take a stand for what you believe in even though it may be the unpopular decision.

The more you do it the worse you feel “unless your heartless”, and when you go bed at night its not easy resting and you ponder what else can I do. You say to yourself If money flow stops then I will be a asshole with no money. I have seen this in so many places from fortune 500 companies ceo’s, to the employees, to the people in home based businesses. People might not even be directly involved, but they know what is going on or directly involved.

They continue to stay within the corrupt organization to collect a paycheck, and I am not saying be a snitch and tell all the bad that goes on because if they are powerful company they would make your life hell. All I am saying is distance yourself before you get in to deep.

The last thing on a major scale was subprime mess, they were selling people the american dream, but the chances of survival in it were very slim and they knew it. It was good for ceo’s and everyone involved making money, BUT when you start getting stories, the letters and emails, about grown men crying because they can’t provide for their family, and single mothers putting their life saving on the line that extra trip rome doesn’t feel to good. They were making so much money it didn’t start to sink in until BLOODSHED and after of effects the personal stories hit home and by then they were in TOO DEEP.

You could name ANY tobacco company and say the same thing, THERE IS NO GOOD in those companies I mean come on 99% of people that work in the companies don’t use the product “COME the #### on” that should say enough right there. Its this type of thing where they could sell it to stranger because they have no emotional attachment to the person, but if was their mother or close friend they would say “hey don’t buy or do that, this is just how I make my money” . Treat people the way you would like to be treated.

That right there is like mr jim rohn says “what tastes good in the mouth can be very bitter in the belly”. So what I am basically saying is when you start to see something that is wrong, and you know it don’t turn a blind eye. Most people go in too deep before they can turn back. They develop the high morgage and all the other toys and all people counting on them and they can’t turn back because they in too deep now. Moral of the story if you can’t sell it your mother, and look her in eye don’t do it. Don’t ever sell your soul for the love of the $. There are way too many people who have made it the top without selling their souls for the $.

LETS GO PEOPLE.

“Lack of money is the root of all evil” SO LET MAKES SOME GOOD MONEY!!!!

When it comes to the car custom game there are two companies that run it. One is on the west coast “west coast Customs” and One is on the East Coast ” Unique Auto Sports” Its like Biggie and Pac. There is nothing Will and his crew can’t do with a car if your imagination can dream it well Will and crew can do it. Will wasn’t always mentioned in the same breath as Sean P Diddy Combs , 50 Cent Lebron James, Yao Ming, Busta. It was a constant climb over his 20 year plus career to get to the top. You could basically call him the Lebron James of the custom car game. I had the honor of doing a interview with Will and he shared what it took him to get to the top. I would like thank Will for taking the time to come out share nuggets with the people. Also shoutout to whole staff at unique auto quality people.

Enjoy

Where do I start with John. Most people don’t know him, if he walked down the street in many places across the united states people wouldn’t have a idea who he is. Even here in Chicago his home town most people have no clue who John is. I promise you though anyone who someone in Chicago knows who John is. I am talking anyone from Oprah, Michael Jordan, to president of united states of America barack obama.

Let me start with Johns story so you can get to know him a little better. He born into a well to do family, well educated with great jobs. John’s dad gave him stock, for his 12th birthday, and from that day he fell in love with investing. When you develop a love for something at 12 and continue to work on your passion there is good chance for success at very young age.

He went on to study at Princeton university, and he was star basketball player there. Then 3 years after graduating he started his own firm with loans from friends and family. He started Ariel investments with just one employee, and worked very hard to grow it. Each year he would gather new clients, and his family connections helped out a lot.

Today he owns the largest african american owned investment firm in the nation. He would spend a lot of his time after school in early years at stock broker office. You know how a lot of people like to spend their time facebook or myspace John would spend it a office.

Your connections in life can only take you so far, and John had the knowledge and passion to back up his company. So that’s why today he owns a multi billion dollar company.

When you are a winner everyone wants to hang with you, and that is the case for John. He also sponsors a lot of events across the nation.

He has a GREAT heart, every year he helps out a lot of kids from the inner city get into investing world. He teaches them, and a lot of them go on become very successful. They run accounts and learn how trade and everything in johns class.

Here enjoy pictures of John W Rogers hanging with out with some of chicago’s elite

Here is hanging with kanye west at kanye west foundation night for donda west. Dwayne Wade was also here

John also hangs with barack obama to this day. On inauguration day john was in one two limos carrying the president and VERY close friends and family.

and Enjoy John playing michael jordan one one, and he beat Jordan”remember Star player at Princeton”
